The Red Series

The Red Series. Every so often, I find myself wanting to revamp, try something new and to simply challenge myself creatively, especially when I’m feeling stuck. And to be honest, that’s where I was/kind of still am — a little uncertain, a little lost but still hungry for creativity. Thus my colorventures began! I started my blog on Instagram and am always looking to be inspired by other bloggers and fellow creatives. I’ve seen quite a few people play with color and aesthetic, but I wanted to find a way to bridge color and my love for detail and style. So this is me trying something new lol! I don’t know where this will go, but I do know i’m having fun keeping up with it. That’s what this life thing is all about anyway right? If you’re not enjoying what you do, why keep doing it?

Red is such a daring color. When women dare to be bold, want to add a little pop or spice to an outfit, red is a signature go to — the mark of sexy finished look. But colors have way of bringing the best and the fun out of things, and in this look I wanted red to scream sexy and playful in my ruffled spaghetti strap dress and graphic tee; a girl should always know how to keep it sexy and cool.
