Continuing the celebration of the essence of red in fashion, when I saw this dress in Zara, I had to get it! Not only did it fit the theme perfectly, but it also gave me a mix of Spanish renaissance vibes mixed with vibes from Dolce. Maybe its the light tethered ruffles against my Aldo slides, but the combo worked perfectly.

I’m telling you, (via my last blog post) there is something truly special about this front porch rose garden. I’m a firm believer of keeping your home and everything around you in the best order. All things are beautiful and useful in its own way… that and you never know when you’ll need a subtle background for a good picture! lol

All red paired with yellow. A risky choice to some, but this bejeweled beauty was a keeper. Also a Zara steak, I picked the not so obvious choice to finish this look. The idea of playing in colors means mixing combos you’ve never done but always wanted to try!

A great walk-away series to show you the true movement of this dress! Even though its light with sleeves, I still vote this a summer keep! Its so light, it feels like a slip

When you wake up and smell the roses (I’ve been waiting to use that one! lol) Another great moment in the sun Dress: Zara// Shoes: Aldo Shoes // Bag: Zara // Earrings: Aldo Accessories

I bet she smiles because she finally loves what she sees in the mirror.

I remember when I used to try to hide my gap, when I thought smiling would raise too many questions. It crazy how growth, love, and time works. Not only do I love every space and part about me, but my smile and most of all being able laugh and have fun on my by myself is a blessing and true relief.
