For the Love of Orange

Next stop — Orange! This was a quick trip on our colorvenure (orange was a little harder to make work than I realized! I definitely need to get a better handle on pre-planning my posts/outfits for the color themes) nevertheless, we started our orange adventures at #CurlFest 2019 at Randall’s Island! This year’s melanin festival was by far one of the best. I was skeptical of the new (super far) location but I realize now, more space made for an even better time! So many beautiful black King and Queens graced the space with vivid colors and outfits, curls, coils, and everything in between. In the midst of strangers, I felt the most comfortable to be around people, my people free to be exactly who we want. One of my first stops was to Moshoodat’s crown collection for a taste of royalty.

Next stop was to Creme of Nature’s booth with my babes & fellow writer @ShakeleSeaton Friends that slay together stay together! We had such an amazing time, I’m feeling the vibes all over again as I write this out lol

August 16, 2019 I turned 26 in Palm Desert, California. Bae and I took a quick trip to the desert and never looked back! Our first trip on a special day, truly couldn’t have worked out better. Going back and looking on every day leading up to 26… they asked if I had any regrets? My answer is always no. Every good and bad decision led me here.
